Corporate Loan Administration Assistant

Location:  Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid – 3 days a week in office)

Job Code:  F65GL

  • Facilitate FD/Checking Account Opening and related inquiries.
  • Provide Trade knowledge (Bank Guaranty/Standby/Letter of Credits) to clients as needed.
  • Perform KYC/CDD for clients.
  • Compute ROE
  • Coordinate IBG document execution to facilitate loan processing.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in assigned tasks.
  • Assist special or other projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide indicative rates to US FD clients for new placement and rollover transactions as needed.
  • Coordinate US FD Account Opening/Maintenance.
  • Facilitate US client open/close bank accounts in Singapore.
  • Assist Standby Letter of Credit/Bank Guaranty application.
  • Update US Account Opening process/manual and align process with Head Office’s requirements.
  • Set up and maintain prospect/customer names in AOS system (including name search, registered information, ).
  • EG/DOA group set up & maintenance in AOS
  • Assist for client mandate change and CMCP Maintenance.
  • Coordinate IBG document execution. Arrange documentation execution within turnaround time (Including NDA, Engagement Letter, Administrative Details Form, request Tax Form, Commitment letter, Credit Agreement and Amendment etc..).
  • Prepare CIF No. request
  • Upload Account plan and Call report to IDW system.
  • Conduct search request via EWSS on a needed
  • Coordinate Audit confirmation (Loan/Deposit)
  • Maintain billing for IBG customers
  • Process and update operational assessment indicators for the Los Angeles Representative Office on a monthly basis. (Back-up only)
  • Process and classify all operational and regulatory risk incidents for compliance reporting. (Back-up only)
  • Assist in capturing all RCSA assessments accurately in the GRC system. (Back-up only)
  • Manage and Service the ARP transactions for US clients as needed. (Back-up only)

Assist in tasks/projects as directed.

Experience

  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years relevant loan experience in the financial institution industry.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Independent and motivated team player
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with both internal and external customers
  • Results-oriented, Strong attention to accuracy and detail is required
  • Have the ability to work on own initiative, ability to prioritize workloads and deliver to tight timescales
  • Ability to problem-solve & provide suggestions to operational issues through a pragmatic and commercially sound approach
  • Proficient MS Office Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills and understanding of core banking systems

Estimated salary range: (DOE) $95K to $115K, plus annual bonus, medical, dental, vision, life, vacation, 401K
