Summary:Â This position is responsible for directing and overseeing all the financial activities of the bank, including preparation of current financial reports, summaries, and forecasts for future business growth and general economic outlook, setting and tracking financial goals, objectives, and budgets.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Understands and complies with requirements of all laws and regulations applicable to the position
- Partner with executive management in formulating the company’s future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
- Develop financial and tax strategies
- Oversee and manage capital requests and budgeting processes
- Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company’s strategic direction
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
- Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
- Oversee and manage all departments within the Finance division to include Accounting, Investor Relations, Tax, and Treasury
- Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies
- Manage any third parties to which accounting or finance functions have been outsourced
- Oversee the company’s transaction processing systems
- Implement and ensure compliance with operational best practices
- Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package
- Oversee acquisition due diligence and assist in negotiating acquisitions as needed
- Oversee the issuance of financial information
- Personally review and approve all Form 8-K, 10-K, and 10-Q filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (if the company is publicly held)
- Report financial results to the board of directors
- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company’s risk profile
- Construct and monitor reliable control systems
- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
- Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors
- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
- Oversees the design, development, implementation, and enhancement of new or existing processes and procedures supporting organization and business line objectives. Independently manages business requirements and guides project teams in assessing the impact of major issues and determining an appropriate action plan
- Collaborate with executives and senior managers to create a positive working environment, find opportunities for efficiencies and scalability throughout the organization
- Create annual business objectives and budgets for assigned business units ensuring alignment with the Company’s overall goals each year
- Produce shareholder value by managing costs effectively within areas of responsibility
- Work in partnership with executive management in the identification of new products and services that can enhance the client experience
- Manage the job performances of assigned team members in a manner consistent with firm values to ensure proper training in the Bank’s culture, products, and services
- Oversee the development and delivery of management reports to unit-level managers and executive management that accurately report the performance of their respective team members against defined standards
- Additional responsibility are to oversee the investment strategy, budgeting overall strategy, and as a liaison with bank‘s core applications third party servicer. And any projects as assigned by the CEO.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting, is required; a higher degree and CPA and/or CFA are preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in banking or related field is required.

- Competency in leading a collaborative environment and creating priorities and focus for key support partners
- Executive level confidence in championing and presenting the challenges and opportunities within the financial division, i.e., internal partners, Board of Directors, stakeholders, etc.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills to develop a high-performing team

- Solid GAAP and financial reporting technical skills
- Solid technological-based skills consistent with related area
Estimated salary range:Â (DOE) $140K to $180K plus annual bonus, medical, dental, vision, life, 401K, 4 weeks vacation
